Cowichan Tutoring is a private tutoring service specializing in mathematics and physical sciences, particularly the British Columbia Graduation Program.
We also provide tuition to university students for mathematics and physics, or adults wanting help with computer technology and applications.
Teens may have the need for help to get through the graduation requirements or they may want to increase their marks to qualify for scholarships along the way. We provide direct help on both of those needs.

Passions
I think one of the most important things in life is helping others to find strengths they did not know they had. As an educator, I try to awaken those strengths, even if they seem small. They all add up. In my tutoring practice, I try to help each person perform better and make the achievement level they are trying for.
The wilderness is a big draw for me. I try to get out to explore and lead others into the wonders of wilderness. The main focus now is Vancouver Island. This is a playground, with so much to see and experience. Guiding lets me explore and give others the gift of seeing real wilderness in a way that is closer to their normal comfort zone.
The secrets of how to be a great father is another passion. My children have led me to this. Through my relationship with them, I have reflected, researched, and studied about the essential actions of a good father and parent, especially when faced with all the modern problems of shifting relationships and roles.
